Uploading video
Go to your team's Videos page and click Upload. Select your match footage (MP4, MOV, or MKV). VAIXR uploads directly to secure Azure Blob Storage, then automatically transcodes the video for HLS streaming. You will receive a notification when processing is complete.
Tagging events
Open a video and use the Tag panel on the right. Click a tag type (or press its keyboard shortcut) at the desired moment in the video to stamp a timestamped event. Tags are saved instantly. The platform supports offline tagging — tags created without a connection are queued and synced automatically when you reconnect.
AI event detection
On Pro and Elite plans, VAIXR automatically triggers AI analysis after upload to detect goals and shots. You can also trigger on-demand analysis from the video detail page. Detected events appear in the Tags panel labelled 'AI' and can be reviewed, confirmed, or deleted by your analyst.
Generating clips
Select one or more tags in the tag panel and click 'Create clip', or draw a custom time range on the timeline. VAIXR runs an FFmpeg job in the background and notifies you when the clip is ready. Clips can be downloaded or shared directly with players or the full team.
Statistics and stat sheets
Stat sheets let you aggregate tag counts into customisable performance metrics for individual players and the team as a whole. Go to a video and open the Stat Sheets tab to assign tag types to stat columns. Results can be exported and linked to match records in the Games section.
Sharing analyses
Create an Analysis from the Games section to organise clips and annotations into a structured session. Share it directly with selected players, the full team, or generate a public token link that anyone can view — no login required. Public shares work for both video clips and full analysis sessions.
Division footage sharing
Clubs in the same division can set up a reciprocal footage sharing agreement. Once both clubs accept, each can download the other's raw match footage. Tags, clips, and stats are not shared — only the original video file. This requires a Pro or Elite plan.
Live tagging
Use the live tagger (/live-tagger) to tag events in real-time during a match from any device. Create a Tagging Session before the match and share the session link with your bench staff. Live tags broadcast instantly via SignalR to all connected analysts.
