Getting started with VAIXR
From sign-up to your first team: how to set up a club and team, and which roles give whom access.
This page walks you through the first steps in VAIXR: creating an account, setting up your club and team, and inviting team members.
Creating an account and a club
After registering, you create your first club — the organisation that all your teams, videos, and settings live under. The user who creates the club automatically gets the ClubAdmin role and has full access to every team in the club.
Adding a team
Go to Teams and create a new team. Pick the sport (soccer, basketball, handball, hockey, futsal, or volleyball) — this determines which default tag types and statistics VAIXR suggests. A club can manage multiple teams, for example by age group or level.
Roles: platform vs. team
VAIXR has two layers of roles. Your platform role (ClubAdmin, TeamAdmin, VideoAnalyst, Scout, TechnicalCoordinator, Player, Parent, Supporter, Tagger) determines what you can do in the system at all. Your team role — set per team member in the roster — then determines what you can do within a specific team: manage the roster, tag, share clips, or view only.
- ClubAdmin — full access to the whole club and every team
- TeamAdmin — manages the roster and settings of a single team
- VideoAnalyst / Coach — uploads, tags, cuts clips, and shares analyses
- Player / Parent — views shared content, comments
Inviting team members
From the team roster you invite new members by email. They receive an invitation link, register (or sign in with an existing account), and immediately get the team role you assigned.
