XML import
Load match data already tagged elsewhere (SportsCode / Longomatch format) as tags on a VAIXR video, reusing your mapping the next time around.
Do you use external tagging software in SportsCode or Longomatch XML format? You can import that data as tags on a video that's already in VAIXR, instead of re-tagging everything from scratch.
Start the import from a video's tagging page via the Import XML action. A video needs to already exist in VAIXR before you can import into it.
The wizard, step by step
- File — upload the XML file.
- Sync — the half start times in the XML file are matched to the video's timeline, so every imported moment lands at the right point.
- Events — map each XML code to a tag type in your team.
- Descriptors — map each label group to a descriptor; you can create new tag types or descriptors on the spot if there's no match yet.
- Players — map player names from the file to players in your team roster.
- Teams — mark which labels belong to your own team and which to the opponent.
- Preview & import — review a preview and confirm the import.
Mapping is remembered
Once you've completed a mapping, VAIXR remembers it per team for files with the same structure (recognised by the set of codes used in the file). Import a later file from the same source, and the earlier mapping is suggested automatically — you don't have to re-map every match.
