Club & team management

How clubs, teams, and team roles relate to each other, and how you manage members and access requests.

A club is the organisation that one or more teams belong to. Every team member gets a team role, via a TeamMembership, that determines what they can do within that specific team.

Team roles

  • ClubAdmin — full access within the team
  • TeamAdmin — manages the roster and team settings
  • Analyst — uploads, tags, cuts clips, shares
  • Assistant — assists the analyst role
  • Coach — views everything, tags, cuts clips, shares
  • Player — views shared clips, comments
  • VideoShare — shares raw footage between clubs
  • Parent — views the team calendar and planning for their child

Adding members

There are two ways to add someone to a team: you invite them by email (TeamInvitation), or someone requests access to a club or team themselves (ClubJoinRequest / TeamAccessRequest) — those requests show up in an overview and need approval before the user gets access.

Team positions and seasons

Under Team Settings you configure sport-specific positions (e.g. left-back in soccer, or point guard in basketball) and manage seasons. A season transition cleanly closes off running data (evaluations, statistics, challenges) so a new season starts with a clean slate.

Divisions and cross-club collaboration

Clubs can form a division together. Teams in the same division can — once both sides agree — share raw match footage with each other (see Uploading video for the upload process itself, and your club's role page for the sharing settings).
