Games & match statistics

Recording a match with lineup and events, and how that connects to videos, tags, and analyses.

A Game is the match record that links teams, videos, and tags together. Under Games you create a match with a date, opponent, and result.

Lineup and events

A match has a lineup — including support for guest players who aren't a regular team member. Individual events on the match timeline are recorded as a GameEvent, separate from, but often combined with, the video tags.

Linking statistics

From a video detail page you link a tag sheet (called `StatSheet` in the code, always "tag sheet" in the UI) to the match video. Tag types are then aggregated into statistics fields per player and per team. Platform tag sheets (recognisable as non-editable) are ready-made VAIXR templates per sport; you can also create your own.

Game preparation

Before the match, you can put together a game preparation: objectives, standard situations (corner, free kick, throw-in, penalty, kick-off, goal kick, or a custom situation) with instructional clips, and agreement lines for players. A preparation stays in draft until you publish it, after which players and staff can view it. This is an Elite-only feature.

From tags to analysis
